The right Senior Care starts with understanding what you need

Senior Care Guidance & Consultations

Can your loved one stay at home with more support? Is assisted living the right choice? I help older adults and families evaluate care needs, understand their options, and decide what makes the most sense.

Where are you in the process?

You may be noticing changes, facing a difficult decision, or trying to make sense of different recommendations. Wherever you're starting, the important thing is understanding what's happening and what questions need to be answered.

Can we make home work?

Explore whether additional services, changes to the home, or help with daily activities could make staying home possible.

Find out what assisted living communities offer, where their limitations are, and what matters when comparing them.

Our situation is complicated

When health concerns, family perspectives, or care arrangements overlap, it can be difficult to know where to begin.

Before choosing a Senior Living community

Assisted Living Fit Consultation

Touring assisted living communities can be overwhelming. Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, and an impressive list of amenities don't always tell you how well a community can manage your loved one's care.

Care capabilities
Can the community manage current health needs and changes that may occur?

Staffing and support
Who provides care, when are they available, and what happens when needs increase?

Safety and oversight
How are medications, falls, changes in condition, and emergencies handled?

Questions to ask
What should you clarify before signing an agreement?

Other possibilities
Could staying at home with the right support be equally appropriate—or better?

A Conversation Is a Good Place to Start

Senior Care Consultations

When you're unsure what to do next, it can be difficult to know where to begin or even which questions to ask. Our first conversation is an opportunity to talk about what's happening, what's concerning you, and what you need help understanding. Together, we'll begin making sense of the situation and identifying what deserves attention.

From there, I'll recommend an approach based on your needs. Some families need help with one specific decision, while others benefit from a more comprehensive assessment, guidance through a care transition, or ongoing care management support. We'll discuss the available options, what I can provide, and an estimate for services before you decide how you'd like to proceed.

“The question isn't simply whether someone can stay at home or should move to assisted living. It's whether their needs can be met—reliably & safely—wherever they live.”

Meet Rebecca Lefebvre RN, BSN, BSW

30 years in Nursing, Social Work, & Senior Living Communities

My career spans hospitals, community care, clinical education, population health, hospice and palliative care, complex care management, and residential care. I've worked with the people receiving care, the families supporting them, the professionals providing it, and the organizations responsible for making it all work. These experiences have taught me that what looks like a good care plan on paper doesn't always work in practice. I understand how healthcare systems operate, where gaps can occur, and what to look for when evaluating whether a person's needs can realistically be met.

“Rebecca truly helped our family when we needed advice for our parents' living situation. Her experience and industry knowledge coupled with her compassion and understanding made the experience meaningful and useful for my parents—as well as for me and my brother.”
